The first appearance of the CUPRA eRacer in the ETCR official test session at Motorland Aragón gave the CUPRA Racing’s technical staff the opportunity to run the car for the first time after completing the integration of the ETCR kit at Williams Advanced Engineering.
CUPRA Racing’s engineer Xavi Serra, who is at the head of the project, explained: “We are excited for running the new CUPRA eRacer for the first time on a real racetrack after the shakedown for the integration in the UK. Here in Motorland we have started to calibrate all the systems and get to know how make the best out of them. It has been a challenging test, because we had to get used again to the charging and cooling phases while using the ETCR-certified equipment. The result was positive, as we didn’t meet with any issues.”
