The WSC family was deeply touched by the sudden death of Aldo Cerruti, father of Michela and the man who inspired the recent activities of Romeo Ferraris engineering in TCR and ETCR competition.

“This has been a very sad news, because Aldo was a friend more than a partner. We will always be grateful to him for his consistent and enthusiastic support to TCR and ETCR. On behalf of the whole WSC group I offer our sympathy to Michela, her family and the Romeo Ferraris staff,” said WSC President Marcello Lotti.

Cerruti, 77-year-old, had been a successful racing driver with the pseudonym of “Baronio”, winning the titles in the 1975 Italian Renault Clio Cup and the 1977 Alfasud European and Italian Trophies.
